you think that's high? to me, it'd be cheap as hell. i'm currently looking for one, and for example around kansas, there's 96 sc's w/ 110k miles going for $12,000! then a 92 sc4 with 120k miles going for $13,000! i wish i lived where you all live

his car is pretty much better than new it seems like from the pics (Lex Luthor's), and it's got low miles, so it's pretty much a steal at 12k, but it's too far away. the car i'm talking about in kansas, the 96, i just checked it on autotrader, with 110k miles, it's actually $14,000!

All those prices are outrageously high. What happened in the last couple of months to make prices soar so high? I know that towards the summer, prices tend to get higher, but 13k for a 92 SC400 is ridiculous.

when I was SC shopping I found some OUTRAGEOUS pricing too. there was a 96 with 80k going for 17 or 18k!!!!

I think the blk/blk 5spd is driving that cars price, not too bad though. I think the price of SC3s in 5speed has gone up due to all of the forced induction pub they have been getting (ie SCC's article, Turbo Mags buildup, etc)

My 95 SC300 5speed... 68,816 miles, all service records, 60k @ 60,458, a few dings & dents, needed a new taillight housing.

Paid $9,500 plus $800 to ship it from San Diego to Boston.

...Did I mention it had ~69k on it?

haha you guys are all trying to show me up, and make me feel bad

1 day down...6 togo til i go pick it up. boys, this'll be the longest week of my life.

by the way, i saw 2 sc300's in my neighborhood BOTH with the tail light clearing upgrade, so i automatically figured they were from club lexus. one even had the club lexus soarer sticker. one is teal and the other is white, located in Hacienda Heights, Sierra Ridge town houses.

Then how come i can't sell my car.. its a 96 sc300 white on beige, debadge
84k.. and im asking 12k (i'd take less)
Why do people look at me like i have 8 heads when i tell them the price?

(*not posting this as a sale.. just comparing prices.. if you have to edit my post.. please do so. .thanks)

lol, don't worry. the pricing in your area is what it SHOULD be, instead of the overpriced **** i have to deal with in kansas .

J_RoK, I wouldn't consider your pricing bad at all, i mean, 84k miles is practically brand new. It's when it has 110k miles, and is over $14,000...
