Default Wood trim custom work?

Has anyone done anything custom with their woodtrim?? Painted, removed anything???

Any pics?

I ask b/c I have switched my interior to black and I am just not liking the black with the wood. I was thinking of going with a silver. I will just paint them first and see how they look, and if I screw them up I will just scuff them and try something different. Will post pics when I have success, and only when I have success!!

Default try blackwood...

I think the blackwood kit or CF looks good with a black interior...just depends on your budget...just don't buy from fleabay, that stuff is pure crapola...

Unfortunately my budget consists of a trip to the paint store!! So right now it will be a DIY until I get some $$$$ together.

I just wrapped my spare set of wood panels in CF vinyl since i already had a CF shifter plate..
This was my first attempt but it came out OK ... I am also replacing my rear door panel to black to add to the look... Here is my pic...

they used to sell cf rolls on ebay... not sure if they still do or not
