Default push start

has anyone with an aftermarket headunit ever thought about installing a push start button where the oem power/volume control **** use to be???? actually, has anyone ever done it. pics???

Lightbulb Or another idea...

Since push start buttons actually make you take longer to start the car since one motion is now two, how about making that volume **** a remote bass control?

For example, if you have a JL Audio amp, you can use this to remotely control your bass. Should retro nicely in the stock volume **** location:

Other manufacturers have similar ***** to go with their amps. Just an idea.

that or you can replace your ash tray with a hidden alpine amp control and control all of your amps in every way

Or you can do that. Just depends on what options you have to go with your equipment.

I still like the push button start option. I know it is only a gimmick but I like it. I had a friend in Australia with a skyline that was a pushbutton start ( not factory ) and it was cool. A bit ricey but not too bad. Plus I allready have a space for my amp controls where my old cup holder used to be.

so how about those links? i like the idea of a push button start, and i've already replaced the headunit so i'm ready to rock. oh also, i can control EVERYTHING on my stereo through the headunit; so forget amp control *****, lets do some racing sh=t!
