I can understand the lines on the projector, but without ANY lines it looks like the ricely end of a honda.
You need SOME detail, and call me crazy but i think the lines are PIMP on the projectors because they give it a classy little pinstripe effect and the detail is a good thing IMO.

i think de-lining the sc's headlights would be pretty neat, i mean look at all the new cars coming out that are completely 100% clear. the only thing is, everything else would pretty much have to be matched, clear high beam lense, and clear fog lights. perhaps clear CLEAR sidemarkers! perhaps take this upon myself as a DIY in the future, but for now i want to get my headlights clean

I have reviewed this option and agree with OLT and Reg.. the Sc looks good with rideged projectors because of the narrow conour and size... the newer cars would not look right with ridges because of their bulbous size and shape...

What they said..
Also take into account that the chrome bezel on those cars is designed to be seen, that's why they have clear covers. IS300 for example. Nice textured inner chrome bezel that multifaceted on purpose to confuse the eye and give it an overall shape that is the collective headlight. The bezel shapes the light. Lens just protects it.
The SC chrome bezel was designed simple on purpose because you can't see it thru the ribs on the lens. The lens shapes the light in this case. You take out the ribs, and you take out the shape.
But it's exactly this aspect that some like. I don't, because all my mods have to look clean enough to look OEM. If it looks modded, it doesn't pass my personal standards. I like my mods to look like it could have come from the factory that way. Real clean, but effective. Basically anything that APC makes falls into this category. It *looks* modded and tacked on. Works for millions but not my cup of tea.

Ok, so the color is slightly off, but it's damn close! I also stuffed a set of BMW X5 xenon headlights on there >:)
I'll have to put the other one in when that side gets fixed.

Dude,
I just scored on a pair of free headlamps and thought of trying this....but it doesn't look so hot like I imagined....I give you a thumbs up for trying and experimenting
I think it would look better if you did the corner housing in the same color as well....
