dang man, sorry to hear about your SC. There are so many crazy drivers out there, ever since I got my SC I'm always watching everywhere, sometimes I think people get close to you on purpose just because you have a nice car. But in your case it was older driver, argh!!

How fast was the man going when he hit you? That looks like 40 or 45, was he trying to run the intersection light? when you were waiting for your turn signal?

 

Heres how it happened i was waiting to turn for the oncoming traffic to clear , and he smacked right into me sending me flying into oncoming traffic , a chrysler 300m avoided coliding with me head on , he swerved to avoid me i ended up in the oncoming traffic lane , and he ended up making a 90 degree turn, his car was perpendicular to the lanes.

I dont know guys.... I hope his insurance will cover it i mean from the damage it looks like his fault.

 

the car is a total damaged. the insurance will pay you 100% do you have full coverage Mikeif so expect a check of like $11-12,000.(if its totaled) and keeping the car.and it seems that way. but thank god you came out safe. but you can always get another car and start over. Sorry about your loss bro, but I can't wait for the day that they'll do something about these horrible old timer drivers. I can't emphasize it enough. At least you're ok dude - an SC can be replaced anyday.
Besides the point, it hurts to see a Sandstone Beige Metallic SC wrecked like that. It will scare me everytime I step into my car now......

 

hey mike, sorry about your loss man(i know you just bought that car man),but it could be much worst bro. look at the bright side, at least your able to type on the internet and express your anger right now!- you could be laid up twisted right now in a smelly hospital with a respiratory machine breathing for you... you live on to buy another great sc to mod...one word of advice though, go straight to therapy starting today!(if you haven't already).. trust me,i know what i'm talking about... that pain will surely "kick in" real soon, and might even relapse when you think it's over. -good luck

 

Mike, sorry about the damage. If you want to bring that puppy back to life, I have most of the parts to get that car running again. I will take care of you, the parts are just sitting on my side.

Listen to D, go to therapy and get a lawyer.

Couldn't you take your car home and take off your aftermarket parts and put on back the stock stuff if you still have them? I've done that before when I had my Supra. Took it home from the tow yard that towed it and changed my performance parts for stock parts just in case they totalled it. Good luck.

depends on what u get from his insurance company...maybe it's worth to buy it back and part it out.

i wouldn't get it fixed...it's hit pretty damn hard.

 

Damn, you just got the car, that's terrible. Like others have mentioned at least you still have your health, take all the necessary precautions. Whip lash aint no joke!! You can build another SC up. Be safe.

 

Damn, the car is pretty much totalled. See if you can take your mods off the car so you can transfer it to your next SC. Go see a lawyer, its considered automatically his fault because he rear ended you. I've been in enought accidents to know. Glad your OK!

 

Holy crap *****!! I'm sorry for your loss Mike. Your car was really clean. Its real unfortunate that this happened. But I am glad that you escaped relatively unharmed. I hope all goes well with the insurance company(s).
