i had my front grille painted black and i like it

 

I think it looks good on the red. Probably would good on most colors. IMO black on black wouldn't look that good but someone should try it so we can see.
It's all about trying things different.

 

uuuhhhhmmm...(clearing throat)^ i did it, i love it! along with "soarer" tag -chrome was too much with all those letters.... "sc400-"lexus"-"L" symbol- and "soarer"... i had to make it somewhat stealthy but visible if you pay attention to detail. i kept the "L" chrome to offset the other letters....

 

Actually, that looks pretty good on a black car

 

At the same time I feel subliminally forced to comment on the wheel that happens to be present along side the car. Very nice.. Are they simply an option you may choose or have you already opted to purchase these and put them on?

After taking all the badges off and removing the glue from the back of them my "Lexus" emblem snapped in half:
