sc400 sc300 chrome steering wheel emblem finally got it!!
well after a week of heartbreak my arts and crafts guy finally got it right!! I finally have the chrome "L" emblem for the center of my steering wheel!!! cost me 50.00 but It was worth it! for some reason i cant post a pic now. If someone can better inform me how to do this i will get it up otherwise you can email me for the pic at jbeaufisk@bellsouth.net!

Awesome, I really want to see it. Is the pic already hosted? If not, then put it in your CL gallery. If it is, then find the picture address (ex: www.whatever.com/pic.jpg) and copy that and in your reply, hit the "IMG" tab and enter the address into the box that pops up

If the airbag blow, you'll get a reverse lexus symbol on your chest.
BTW, which airbag cover is that? The color looks a little different then the stock chocolate one.

yeah thats why i took other cl members advise and only glued it half on so when the bag splits it supposedly wont kill me. I think the wheel was sprayed before i got it i know its not the same color as my old sc400 with the same interior. thats why its lighter

A few years ago, I tinkered with this idea on my BMW. i.e. putting a hood emblem on the steering wheel to mimic the newer style look.
I ended up deciding against this idea because I didn't want to have a roundel on my forehead just in case I get into an accident.
With that said. That chrome emblem on the steering wheel doesn't look all that bad at all.

The lexus logo emblem that I put on my steering wheel is made of plastic, but looks like the real McCoy. I took it off of a center cap from a late model ES (or was it GS?). I dunno, but it looks great and Im not all that worried about getting hit with a piece of plastic.
And for those of you wondering, NO, I didnt boost the center cap from another car, I bought one at the local dealership

You should paint the airbag black so it would match better. Otherwise the emblem looks good. 
I wouldnt trust gluing anything to the center of my airbag.
Even if you only glued 1/2 of the emblem, the airbag moves in speeds of 100+ mph (not exactly sure about this one). I hope your glue will be able to stand that force or you'll be walking around with a permanent ( L ) on your forehead
