We are in melbourne, which is on the east coast about 50 miles from east orlando (orlando speed world).
Haha, the GE spark plug changing ordeal! Yeah, it take some time, but its not all that hard once you've done it. I can help if you need to.

Hmm, we should get together one of these days, 1jzsoarer is pretty involved within the florida drift community and I'm that Matt has at least seen him at a couple of the local shows, Dday, HIN, etc. Well Satch was going to charge me $40 bucks to do the plugs but if you're available maybe on Tuesday night Matt, maybe we could meet up at the shop and just b.s.
Pete, you know I would be at your house in a heartbeat but
1. You finally got a damn job so you're never home already.
2. You're still the hardest person to get a hold of.
3. I need the plugs in before the car is up and running
Thanks anyways, BTW, what's up with the Supra deal I'm hearing about. Call me or hit me up on PM about that, I'm interested if you fall through.
I'd sell the sc for a supra....

2jz-ge motors use a AFM sensor, it only reads airflow, whether that airflow equals vacuum or boost, it doesnt care... it injects enough fuel to compensate for the air entering the system
this isnt a honda, and this car doesnt have a fuel or boost cut

you are running a Grand National turbo? on stock compression that turbo is going to spool FAAAAST... its going to most likely run out of steam after 5500rpms though, 10:1 compression on a 3.0L at 6500rpms is quite a bit of air
does the MAP ECU work for the 2jz-ge? it seems to be a lower-priced solution than the problematic AEM unit (not to mention all the other stuff you have to buy for it)

The supra sold for 8700, but ended up being an auto and not a 6 speed. All the parts were available to finish it up, but I passed since I just picked up a gte.
Btw, if you're interested in my GE block or head, etc. I will have it ready shortly. I can also throw in some GTE pistons if you'd like.

Just wanted to point out that your exhaust side a/r will have a major factor in how your boost is going to build - with any turbo. With a good tune and correct spec'd wheels/housings boost can be run safely at 10:1 as high as 20 psi. I wish I could tell you exactly what the specs are on my hyrbrid but fact is, I don't know for sure. Still need to pull it off and go through it. Cold side is .50 a/r - TO4b - hot side is a t3 but I have no idea. At 10:1 I can run up to 15 psi on stock injectors with two aux 550's on a haltech f5 and 1uz maf. This is with the supra MkIII fuel pump. I've run 20 psi occasionally, but the last time I did it detonated sequentially across the line. No damage. But I haven't run that high since. Depending on ambient temperature, the car will pull all the way to 6krpm and on a cold day pulls to the limiter but peters out slightly. A headgasket will be necessary if you are looking to flow more than to4 map and go over 400hp. I haven't felt the need as of yet.

I hear ya. I'll keep my eyes open for someone that wants one. Great price. I don't want to just have it sitting around though. Already got those other parts coming from ya eh? There was a cat out in umm... just north of well... damn it... St. Augustine - was running a GS lookin' for a compression drop. Not sure if he got one or not.
