Turbo Project almost done
Well after deciding to go NA-T rather than 1jz or 2jzgte, my project is just about complete. With the help of a local shop "Smythemotors", I pieced together the following components of the kit.
Custom Manifold (polished)
Turbo Smart 38mm Wastegate
GN turbo
Precision Turbo Intercooler
Greddy Type S BOV
3" Intercooler Piping (polished)
Single 3" Exhaust
3" Downpipe
For fuel, I am temporarily using a SAFC2 with the stock injectors before deciding which standalone unit I would like to go with.
BTW, on top of my kit he has made two extra manifolds and bolt on downpipes, an one extra set of complete intercooler charge pipes. If you're interested check out in the classified section

. Any constructive criticism is welcome! Don't rip me too bad guys

Are you on brevardmotorsports.org? I saw your car the other day at his shop, its lookin nice. I would how ever highly recommend a TT headgasket while the car is down, i have one here at the house, drop me a line if you are interested. Nice to see another Turbo SC in town. Bring it up to the thursday night hooters meet when its all done.

Hmm, you must be Matt correct? Heard lots about you, actually called you a few years back when I was interested in buying your White GSX before I bought my last GS-T.
Interested in the headgasket but at this point, I just want the car to be done! and to get it in the paint shop and put the wheels on.
I'll hit you up on BMS

Yeah, thats me, i used to have the white 99X, loved that car and sold it for a mint. I definitly want to see that manifold and how it performs. People are always asking me at shows and around about how they can get their Lex turbod, and which is better, GTE or GE Turbo. Would be nice to finally support a local shop that makes a nice kit. Sach seems like he reallly knows what hes doing, i guess you just have to look beyond the jimmy buffet shirts and elvira nails, lol. TTY on BMS.

Well I have a Walbro 255 in there for now,
As for the other aspects of fuel, I am debating as to which standalone unit I would like to go with. That really has more to do with what the local tuners are more comfortable with (and of course price). I've heard some good things about "Microtek" here in Orlando so that's always one option.

I havent heard of anyone putting a microtek on a 2jz, but i'm sure it would work. If you talk to anyone about it, make sure the microtek can accept the digital output of the 2jz crank angle sensor, not square wave like haltech, etc. I dumped my haltech e6h and went with the vpc, safc combo which makes my car run like a champ along with the gforce ecu upgrade. Not that i like it, but the AEM is also a good option, i have the 3 bar map sensor and iatc for it here too if you go that route.
BTW, is your car a 5speed or auto?
