Default 97+ tail lights

I know this thread has been burned out, but i can't find any info on anyone finding the solution to the fast blinker and tail lamp sensor problem when upgrading to the 97+ tail lights. The reason i asked is i tried to clear out my 95 taillights and got impatient and cracked both of them removing the glue. So im gonna break down and upgrade to the 97+ tailights..

I was unaware of this problem. I'm going to be upgrading to 97+ and I drive a 1992. So what exactly is the problem? And back to the original question... can it be fixed?

Use the search button and type in tail light conversion or tail light upgrade. From what i read you'll get the hyper blinker problem (Ricey) look, and the dash burn out light will stay on all the time.

Only happens when you swap out 95 to a 97 taillight...You can buy the special module to fix this but thats cost $200 bucks....Not really worth it...I would recommend that you take out your cluster and take out that rear taillight indicator bulb....The bad thing about this is that you won't know when you taillight bulb goes, but since you don't have that module it's pointless to have the talight indicator bulb lighting up all the time anyways...

I would make it my routine to check every month to see if any taillight bulbs are out....

Yes, you will need the module that I was referring to above...

So from 95 to 97 do you need the 97 wiring harness also? Or can you just use your existing bulbs?

Doh! i ordered it threw Lexus and told him just the lens housing. It ran 194 dollars a piece just for the housing without the harness. Dang Lexus prices makes it hard to upgrade anything....

Default Fitment?

Will this fit on the 92 rear with no problems? I read somewhere that there will be some gap or something... Can someone please post pics?? Thanks.. Bryan
