anyone know if there is a shop in Tokyo that would sell these? I might be heading to Tokyo in mid-august (If I don't, a friend of mine is defnitely going). If their is a shop then they might be substantially cheaper then buying from takakaira

I think D-speed does all their lights for them.

Those lights at the top are on the car that features on the black SC in Fast n Furious 1 desert racing scene, they look awesome, but at $800 (i'm guessing for the pair) other things have to take priority, like a supercharger for example

Ooooh, those are nice. I definitely like those better than the cleared out 95/96 lights. I did the tails all red on my '94 (turnsignals sprayed red, red striped back-up lights) which came out very nice, but I'd rather have clear uppers.

Honestly, I dont tihnk they look that great . And they are definetly not worth the $700 price tag. Id much rather have my candy apple red tails which cost me all of $6 to do. Or better yet, the 97+ tails

The 97+ lights are the worst of the lot IMHO, they just don't suit the car, and it looks like they have some kind of chrome trim in them? Pretty tasteless if you ask me

I think those cleared 92s look sweet, better than anything I've seen so far.

You have your opinion, I have mine. To me, I love the 97+ lights, and I also like my all-red tails too. I respect your opinion

I kinda agree... my favorite are the 95-96 lights, or reded out 92-94 lights... i never liked the chrome trim around the 97+ lights... but I do like the 97+ front bumper

Here's a link showing the cleared tails in Fast n Furious 1, they are actually the opposite of the takakaira ones above! Maybe they are cleared 94-95 units a bit like midniteSC.

Correct me if i'm wrong but wouldn't those be the 95-96 taillights since their red on top?

Either way, no taillight style will be the "best" because everyone has their own opinion, and owns different cars (colour, syle). So different styles will suit each individual's liking. Lets just leave it at that.

Quick Reply: 92 clear/red tailights can be done!
