Either way, no taillight style will be the "best" because everyone has their own opinion, and owns different cars (colour, syle). So different styles will suit each individual's liking. Lets just leave it at that.

Here's a link showing the cleared tails in Fast n Furious 1, they are actually the opposite of the takakaira ones above! Maybe they are cleared 94-95 units a bit like midniteSC.

Well the car is only featured for like 3-4 seconds so I guess maybe they thought they could get away with tape. Either that, or even the FnF budget couldn't stretch to the $800 from takakaira LOL
Though guess this could be someones private car? I heard they used a lot in the movie.

Actually, that car was privately owned and was even listed on the ClubLexus classifeds awhile back. As I remember, he began by asking $21,000 and eventually dropped down to around $12,000. The mod list wasn't really all that long. Most of what was listed involved custom upholstery and paint /body work. It was an SC400 with little in the way of performance upgrades, with the exception of nitrous, brakes were stock with cross-drilled rotors, etc. He seemed shocked by the lack of interest in the car.
