Default Pictures of the LED work in my sc300

Well boys and girls here are some pics of some of the LED work I have done in the past week in my sc300. It all started because of burnt out bulbs, and one thing led to another.

So far I have installed 25 led's in various places. I have done my climate control(not very happy with the results), Pioneer head unit, window control units, security light, ignition ring, climate control, and stereo control *****, seat heater buttons, and the cigarette lighter ring.

I am FAR from done. lol. Check back in this thread as I will update it with pictures as I do more modifications.

Here is what things look like right now...

My first attempt at the climate control with UltraViolet LED's sucked! the light was very un-even.

The second attempt at the climate control is much better, but I am still not too happy with it. I used 6 red led's this time. You can see a comparison of the new set-up on the left and the old on the right.

For lots of the mods I use UltraViolet LED's, they basically put off a black-light effect.

The security light unit. I also installed an led to light up the reset and odo/trip, but all that lights up is reset, so I will have to do some more custom work here...

Here are some pics of the window control units with blue led's....

Anyway I should get a couple hours of sleep. A friend is flying me out of province to look at a car for her tomorrow. I will keep you all updated with my progress.

Thumbs up

Awesome job. Looks like the way I have my Celica done. Entire car was redone in blue. I'm working on the SC now.

The climate display is a tricky one. When I went to upgrade the lighting in mine I knew that LED's would never give off the uniform light that the long display needs.

I did mine with cold cathode tubes and the result was pretty good. More info and pics are here:

Have you done any changes to the actual radio? It looks very white. What year is the car? I need to mod mine to match my climate control.

Great job man. Keep us posted.

nice!

it does seem that the LED's you used on the climate control seems to be too bright though... otherwise....

AWESOME!
