interior change to black with tan...yes or no?
im thinking of changing the entire interior of my 92sc. im just sick and tired of the wood grain and tan color.
i dont want to spend a grip though but do you guys think tan and black combination will look good? i will also try or somehow redo the wood grain to different color.
maybe if i change the outer layer of front and rear seats to black and as well as the sides of both headrest,
will that look too cheap?
dont be hard on me.........it wz just a thought, and i need some opinions.
tks fellas!!

You'd be better off buying a 2-tone kit from leatherseats.com (black and tan) and then changing the carpet to all black...not with a dye, the real deal...like J said, otherwise it'll look very cheddar-ish...
I know how you feel man, tan to me is so blah but it's what the car came with and I'm not in a position to change it out so I just deal....

If you can remove the carpet you can give the dye a try. I know someone that removed the carpet and soaked the entire thing in black carpet dye in an infatable kiddie pool over night and the carpet came out looking black. I mean, it was as good as a black carpet and simply looked like a black carpet. It didn't look like a tan carpet dyed black or anthing like that. Plasitc is a whole different story though as I have seen some really good results using plaints like Molecubond, or I also have seen some really crappy results as well.

I agree, black would be the best int. color to have but, I think tan is pretty classy. I guess Im saying that since I have the blue/grey int... What do you guys think of this color anyways? do you prefer it over tan?

Hey sweetsc400 how ya been?
We have the same car, I love my black too. I really thought it was gonna be too hot for Florida but the A/C cools it down real fast & my tint helps alot to save the leather too. I just put another coat of Zaino leather conditioner on it. My seats were saying, Yes!! that stuff tastes great. lol Here it is.
