My Baby needs a face lift!
Here are some pics that i have just snapped last night. I've shared it with a few others on this forum already. But i have a dilemma which requires the help of all you verterans here in this forum.
the sc300 is too slow. Reason i got this is because ugrading to a turbo is feasible but with a price
To make the story short...i would like a body kit and a turbo on this sc3. But right now..i just dont have to money for the turbo. However, i'm very impatient. I like to do all things NOW!!! I want both now!!!
So, thinking if i should sell my 97 sc3 and get a 92sc3. The difference will be invested in a turbo and the body kit? What do u verterans think? This Baby that i have now as you can see is very clean!! I only like the white pearl on lexus.
Luckily i havent invested much in this project yet. I can still put the stock wheels back on and sell the car. Keep the old wheels i guess. Wondering if they can withstand the more HP later on? What do u guys think?

I say trade it in for the 92. You can probably get an engine swap for the difference and there'll be more mods you can play with in the future. You should save the wheels/suspension and put em on your new 92

SOO, let me get this straight..You want to downgrade to a car that is 5yrs older so that you can turbo and install a bodykit??
Sorry but this doesn't make much sense to me..I find it funny that you would want an older car to handle the added power of turbo and have you considered possible maintanence or major maintanence on this older car??? The maintanence may put you back financially to where you are right now and it's going to be a 92-93 instead of a 97.. Rule of thumb, always make sure your car is running top notch, because what good is having a car all modded up sitting broke down on the side of the road???I hope this helps you look at it in another way..
