removing steering wheel - will not come off
hey, im in the middle of removing my steering wheel on my 96 sc4. i did a search and went thru the common procedures of removing 2 torx screws on either side, disconnecting the airbag, and removing the large nut in the middle of the wheel. ive disconnected the cruise/horn connector, and pulling with all my might, the wheel will not come off. is there something im missing/different about this model year? im replacing it with a supra wheel, and the back of the supra wheel offers me no clue either. theres no visible rust or anything holding the wheel onto that middle post - any help will be GREATLY appreciated.

Nah, you don't need a puller. Just loosen the nut holding the steering wheel on the column but don't remove it. Hit the top front of the steering wheel with both hands firmly a few times. It'll pop itself free. Just remove the nut and your done. Works everytime.

When I did the Supra Steering wheel swap....I had to use a puller....it was hard as hell no matter how hard I tried beating it up....good thing my uncle had a puller.
I know member "MrJohnTan" didn't use a puller when he did it.
I guess it's just my weak skills
