Before I get flamed for not researching, let me tell you...I have researched (maybe not enough) but my eyes hurt, hehe. I have a 1998 SC300, but the rear spoiler is not a flush mounted one. It has an LED though. Now, at first I was led to believe that it was the 95 that had the flush mounted spoiler, but then there are threads that say the flush mount is a 97+ conversion mod. WTF? What's the REAL fact? I want to put the small, flush mounted spoiler with LED in place of the spoiler I have on now (touches trunk on both sides, with gap in the middle). I still also haven't found an answer on how different the holes are between the 2 spoilers to mount on the trunk. Also (last one I promise) would the led harness I have now plugs straight into the SpoilerDepot LED? THANKS...have mercy on me please...I tried!

well, the spoiler that you want right now is the 97 only spoilers. the one that is completely touching the trunk is just a lip spoiler (which i have) and yes im pretty sure you can get the one you want without or perhaps with the led's. dont quote me but i remember the price being around 250 on ebay? check it out and good luck!

It seems like everyone with the 97-00 SC's want the 92-96 lip spolier.....
Maybe you can trade with someone here on the forum????

Hey, not everyone! I think the 97 looks more sporty.

Surely you can find the lip spoiler from a breaker near you? You gotta do some phoning around.

Thanks guys. I still have the unanswered question about mounting the spoilers though. How different are the bolt patterns? And what about the LED harness, would it be plug and play between the two? Thanks.
