If I had gotten wheels that big, I would have spent more on wheels and tires then I did on the car itself.

Like I said, I am on a tight budget with a lot of stuff on my list to do, besides, I dont like huge wheels.

After reading all your comments mteele I think your best bet would be to go with 18's and the 97 conversion.

That'll look fine as long as you get a nice drop. Show us some pics when you can.

The picture can be found here: https://www.clublexus.com/gallery/sh...cat=502&page=1

See what I mean about the gaps....I think that part of the reason for the smaller gaps in the rear is that I have my brake package in my trunk (4 rotors aint light!), but another factor may be that they are just getting really worn out and sagging a little on their own. What do you guys think?

I think I want to go with the Supra NA springs/shocks, to get a 1.5" drop in the front, and 1" in the rear. What do you all think?

If you want it to look right wth the kit then you have to get 19's at a minimum, DON'T HALF STEP. Putting 17's on an SC is a complete waste of time and effort. Why step up a mere inch in rim size? What's the point of that? It will make no difference at all in terms of bettering the appearance of the car, in fact it will detract from the appearance if you have a body kit and some small rims. I saw someone with a body kit with 18 inch rims and I thought it looked weird, and you're considering going smaller than that?! Like I said man, you will regret that move if you go through with it....
completly agree

I dont know if I want to go with the JIC kit, do a 97+ front end conversion, or just keep the body stock. I plan on lowering the car after I get the wheels on and can determine how much of a drop I want...

Would a body kit look wierd or would I be alright with my wheel size?
17's with a JIC kit will look way too small. If you are gonna have a kit, 19's will probably look the best. If you want 17's then the supra TT wheels will look nice on the sc, and tires aren't too expensive.

I agree, member aliga had 17" chrome GS400 wheels, and traded to 17" TT's, they look alot better. As others have said, no body kit with 17s, 97+ conversion, Eibach lowering, and TT's is the cost effective compromise that still looks good!

Should I go for the Supra TT Eibach springs or the SC300 ones...? Take a look at the picture and tell me what you think.
