Symphony in Black...
hello all. i came over from the Toyota Nation Forum. i have a 2005 Black Camry, but dang, every time i see a black lexus shoot by me, well, here i am. i am looking to sell my 05 Camry and buy a lexus. i'm a black baller too. only color i will ride with. question is this: i have to decide which lexus to buy: GS300, SC300, or ES300, any choice will be black of course. tint down, etc... but which model can i get the most bang for my buck? which Gen or year should i go for? i am thinking 2001 or 2002 at most due to my budget. but are the 2000, 1999, also a fair choice and have good sytle? please be patient and kind as i am a new member here. thanks mates.

Welcome to CL RICO!!!!
Your 3 choices are 3 VERY different cars. The GS would suit your needs if a 4-door sedan is required. Mods are plentiful and it truly can become a touring sport sedan. The ES is right up your alley as a current Camry owner. Same platform with upgraded amenities and upgraded fit and finish. The SC will fit the bill if you're looking to go all out with mods as a large majority of Supra parts are interchangable.
Your first decision is to decide what your needs are in the car. Then go from there.

After 8 months of nothing but drive through car washes, I needed to clean up my car real well and slap on some wax.
I just cleaned the leather the other day with some fast orange and it looks like brand new. Its amazing that the leather has held up for 10 years

Can anywone post Pics of their Black SC??
I currently have a 92 SC400 that is a odd blue color. I have never been happy with the color because at times it is almost a purple. I dont even know if this was the factory color. Anyway it looks like the clear coat is now coming off in several places. I want to paint it black would love to see others who already have a Black SC. I have heard that "Corvette Black" is the best black to go with and wanted to see what others thought.
Thanks!
Thanks!
