Getting bored of my SC. What to do?
My SC4 project is basically done. Theres not much I can do with it anymore. It's been frustrating because my car has brought so much joy for the past 3 years so its very hard for me to part with it.
The other night a saw a Black TT Supra in the streets of Manhattan and it was very eye catching. I love the way the rear end looks. It totally gives the car its distinct looks that separates from the rest of the competition and the power to back it up. My first car was a MKIII and it really kicked some major **** even though it was an older Supra. On top of that, I've always loved the Supra ever since I was in HS. Defintely one of my all time favorites.
Since I only own one driveway and I can only have one car. I'm still trying to decide what to do in my situation. It's like I'm trying to get rid of my long time girlfriend that I totally love dearly.
It's not anything official, I'm probably going to wait it out and see how much I really want a MKIV before I do anything stupid and give up my SC. I wouldn't want to do anything that I would regret..

i was in your situation a while ago when i thought i had enough of my car, i wanted to give it up for an m3......
i started goin to more lexus/car meets and inspired me to do more, and also the fact that more people kno me as "the guy with the SC."
just wait it out and see how you feel, there's always things to do.....hehe

Well, if you had room for another car, I'd say keep the SC400 as your daily driver and get something else as a new project car (240SX maybe, or if you have deep pockets, an RX-7).
But if you can really only have one car, take your time in finding the EXACT car you want. A Supra would obviously be a great choice, but there are a lot of awsome projects out there that can keep you busy for a long time. Do some research and find something original you could do Hope that helps!

I'm not all that motivated anymore to do the carputer. I'm not big on electronics or audio at all, they just don't interest me as much as comestics and performance. It's been 3 years and I still love the Nak system.
As suspension goes, I'm pretty satisifed with the Tein CS, BBK upgrade, TRD STB and the Daizen bushings. It really gives my car the perfect ride, not too stiff and very comfy.
I would most likey keep my SC but only time can tell.

Go for it man! In 15 years or so, everyone will remember the MKIV as a classic "muscle car", while the SC will probably be forgotten (by the general public, anyhow!) You'll get to brag to your kids and your friends about your glory days with the ol' Supra!
