DL, so did you actually diminish the amount of light that your headlights put out? I'm a little confused. It looks nice but my lights are already dim enough, even with the PIAA's I have. I'm looking for MORE light output, not less. Thanks for clarifying

Painting the bezels does not diminish light output...
Looks cool.....nice action shot.
One thing - seems like the right side of the front bumper is past the front fender - how much is the body shop charging to make that fit correctly? I assume there is some major cutting involved?

The Projector Lens and the Hid kit were off an X5, funny thing is it was a direct fit,
Kilo i can do your lights too, Took me preety much the whole day to do, its about 30 bucks for the materials, and i guess i can do $60 for each light, $150 to make your headlights look brand new .... thats a preety good deal, those are my original lights by the way
Oh and about the front bumper, i kinda hit the curb so its my fault

sorry for not understanding mike but when you say "kit" do you mean the bulbs and ballast from an X5? Because if you changed only the lens from the X5 to the oem projectors, you would have to rebase the bulb.

I doubt that's a good idea because you are using lenses that are specifically configured for the projector bowl. In addition, the stock projector has a metal bracket that blocks additional light. Why didn't you just take the entire projector and put it in while you were at it? I don't know if your setup will work well because I haven't seen cutoff pictures. I may be wrong. Sooooooo the following question would be for cutoff pictures.

Sorry, vendor sales in the forums are not allowed and now you're offering headlight refinishing services as well
