Remove 4 bottom cushion bolts
I need some advice to remove the back bottom cushion bolt. It is located undneath the Safety Belt plate. The Factory manual isn't much help. I have removed the other 3 bolts.

I was in on the first leather GB and when I went in to attack the driver's seat I came across this, too.
I got it out with a crecent wrench. Only way. Damned if I ever got it back in tho.
Good luck!

I'll second what CleanSC said!!!
When replacing my leather seats I used a Craftsman 12MM offset angle wrench to get in there. I was never able to get the bolt back in though!!! I also detached that flat metal rod that sits in front of the bolt. I removed the c-clip and was able to move the rod a bit, enough to get the wrench into that tight spot.

I'm looking at my Soarer office chair... that bolt is easily accessible from here? I do have the driver's seat though with the "Asspad tilt" function in it though, so that bolt can be maneuvered into view through the hole.

Since I was working on the driver's seat and I needed finish the work by Monday night, I used Brute Force.
I took off the C-clip from the silver bar. A friend came over to help me on Monday. I used a Pry Bar and pulled out on the Safety Belt Brace.
I think that Toyota put the large hole in the brace at the wrong location. We tried for an hour to reinstall the bolt. I even took another bolt and fashioned it to look like a pencil point, but it wouldn't not take hold.
I took lots of photos and am now in the process of doing the back seat, then the passenger seat last.
The previous owner spilled coffee or a dark beverage on the passenger side. Really looks nice with the light carpet.

I understand what you are saying. I need to hookup the power cable and then tilt the back up. The bolt then came be installed through that large hole in the brace.
A pain in the butt though, now that I have the seat completely back together.
I will do this on the passenger side. Before installing the back of the seat, place the bottom in the car, raise it up, install the bolt, lower it down, then finish assembling the seat.
Thanks Fred.
I wonder how Toyota did it.
