Hmm, I drive aggresively at times but also clock a lot HWY miles.

I'll keep track of gas/mileage and post results.

LOL Jared I WISH I had a hole in my tank.

At least I'd know what my problem was lol.

Technics: I'll be looking forward to those mileage figures. I invite all other 300 5-speed owners to post their fuel mileage if they could. Then we'd get an idea where we all should be standing.

Thanks all.

Damnit you guys made me jack this thread again.

96 SC3 5spd

I also have a pretty heavy foot and used to get about 18 mpg driving half city half freeway.
I then bought a S-AFC II fuel controller and leaned the car out a bit at full throttle.
It seems that I've actually gained a few ponies and my mpg is up to 20

I highly suggest this mod although it can be quite costly.
I found mine used on eBay for $240 installed it myself (usually $150-200) and used approximate setting although I don't recommend anyone do this.
I'd take it to a dyno now to get it tune properly but I'm planning to slap on a turbo within the next 2 months, so that would be sort of a waste.

I'll let you guys know how my gas mileage is doing once I get the turbo on. =)

I haven't had a base run dyno so I wouldn't be able to tell you but from what I've heard, on a stock SC3 5spd, you pick up around 7-9 hp.
It's a very nice tool to have especially if you plan on making other engine mods.
And it's the first thing to catch the attention of people getting in your car for the first time.
"Ooooh.....Aahh......What do all those lights do?"
