Default easiest way to get acc power in the glovebox?

Hey guys, this is posted in here instead of the Electrical forum 'cause I'd like a specific answer for a '92 SC400. Anybody got ideas on the easiest way to run power that is Accessory switched (i.e. key at ACC) to the back of the glovebox? It should be able to support about 6 amps. So far, it's looking like I'm going to tap the power from the back of the cigarette lighter and run a wire up to the glove box. Any better ideas?

Thanks!

As long as u r not needing too m,uch juice to it, then the cigarette lighter will be fine. I tried using the wiring frfom the phone but it was a constant so had no luck there.

Peacece,
