How many volumes are there and where is the best place to get them? How much should I expect to pay?

Got mine at Lexus. They were about $150 for 2 Volume set. Some might think the price is steep, but.....If you plan on keeping your car for awhile or doing your own work.....They are well worth the price.

Very well worth it. My dealer sold for less than $100. You may try shopping the dealers as the margin on these is huge.

Some folks have said that the ebay bootleg CD manuals don't seem to be quite up to the standards of the factory manual. I don't personally know. I see I have been outbid, so that's okay by me. I am kinda p---ed at the car right now and don't want to keep putting money at it, not even for a service manual.

The CD manuals are not very good but probably worth $20, I got one for $30 but as it was just not good enough in comparison to the workshop manuals which are excellent value even at the top price of $180.

I think the CD manuals is useless for me + I believed that they make illegal copies and sell them on ebay.

The manuals are HIGHLY recommended, and very complete. Even though some rudimentary wiring charts are included in the main two-volume set, for any serious wiring, you also need the separately available Electrical Wiring Diagram manual EWD135U

Camshaft: I said I would a long time ago. My scanner is fried. Haven't gotten another one. Let alone found the time to scan every page and then figure out how to create a read only .pdf adobe style. Maybe after I move in to the house at the end of October and get settled, I will find some time to get this up.
