Default Replaced my trunk shocks today, & started sub enclosure fabbing

MAN that second one was a pain in the ***, took me a long time but I finally got it on. Its nice having a trunk that works now.

The thing that made me finally install them was that I started fabbing my sub enclosure today as well, and it just wasnt safe having the trunk propped up like that with me working in it so much. I'll have pics periodically of the enclosure for you guys. I need to go get some 1/4" MDF board tommorow.

For my sub, I have a JL Audio 12" W6v2 which will be powered by the JL Audio 500/1 amplifier.

for the mids/highs, I have some MB Quart componets for the front and Infinity Kappas for the rear.

Yeah, its going right there in the corner. I was planning on starting the fiberglassing tomorrow, but now with this hurricane I wont be able to

No, not going to mess with that panel. I can get the airspace I want and still build around it.

I could use new trunk shocks, too. Are the OEMs a good replacement or is there an aftermarket type that's better? Mine still work but I have to hold the trunk open for about 2 seconds before it will stay.

Default Talk about a mature forum.....!

Well, obviously we've run out of things to talk about, if we are now seeing posts to announce the ordering of parts.

Are you gonna let us know when the UPS guy arrives, too?
