Default Carbon fiber hood/trunk

I am wanting to purchase a carbon fiber hood, trunk, and oem style spoiler. My question is, I have found the VIS grade AA hood on ebay and was wondering if anyone has seen this hood in person. I have heard bad things about the fitment of their kits, but nothing about the quality or fitment of their CF hoods. Also, where is a good place to buy the CF trunk lid and oem style spoiler?

My friend has a VIS hood on his JDM teg....Truthfully the fitment wasn't so bad..You should PM Tony ACleanSC4, he has a CF hood. Maybe he can help you out..

My friend has one on his Celica. I think the fitment & quality are great. I helped him put the hood on & it took us @ 45 minutes.

I've seen it in person, I can say the fit is pretty good, not really many complaints here. Only downside is, every once in a while, you'll have to re-clear coat the pieces because they'll wear out or turn green.

aasc300, its been discussed. search

i have VIS hood, and when i brought it to the shop and put it on, they told me the fitting wasn't bad at all, but just suggest you are get some hood pins at the same time coz after a while the hood will sorta move and it will create a little gap between the fender and the hood, and all you can do is use the pins and push it back down, and on top of that the car looks soo much better with the pins anyway. hehe

i had one of the original CF hoods for the galant made by VIS. it fit pretty well. slightly raised on the fender edges, but not bad enough to ruin the hood. i was happy with it. few of my buddies have the VIS trunk on their galant, and they say the fitment is good too.

oh yeah, i forgot i was dealing with 2 million dollar luxury cars now i'm talking slightly, not even 1/8 inch. not visually noticable, but you could tell if you rubbed your hand across it. trust me, if i could stick my hand into the engine bay from the gap in the hood, i would say its bad. here

see, its not visually raised
