All four of mine have the slats 
but I think it looks 11tybillion times better without them. I wonder if that affect's the wheels' strength...

Cal Chrome did my TT center caps and they did an amazing job. Chromed plastic looks as good as chromed alloy IMO. I sent him the center caps with a T logo and he sent me back blank ones at no extra charge. Great company.
