Well, no good news to report from the track today I still seem to be having clutch issues, not liking how much hp I'm throwing at it with slicks Looks like the title will remain in TX for a bit

SW, good talk with you on the way home, made for my hour long drive go by much faster

Upinthelex,
Very good observation from the video, I simply have eibach's and koni's on there so it's way too stiff. I'll have a nice video of my launch today with the car squating pretty hard on my 1.5 60ft. However, I'm sure the car would really benefit from a better suiting suspension. I'll have to look into some coilovers for next season. I'm on a full slick and have had no issues with spin (except for clutch ) off the line and into 2nd.

As for a diet, I couldn't agree with you more. I wanted to try and break 9's with a "Full" weight car, including my small 10" sub and jack

I started a thread on SF to debate my choices for clutches so we'll see what happens.

Oh and I also was booted from the track for no cage. Good think I ordered it last week, and will have it in the car over the winter.

Quick,

Great run. Giving you two thumbs up. With over 800 rwhp you should run in high 8s or low 9s. My friends mustang with 550 rwhp hit 10s.

Thanks David! I'm talking to Bogart right now for a possible custom drag wheel setup to clear my TT brakes, and may do the RPS C/C clutch for good measure. Hopeing that with some lightening of the car will get me into the high to mid 9's on this SP71. Otherwise, I'll slap a SP74 on and call it a day

I remember my mustang days, boy do I miss torque My notchbacks were a whopping 2700lbs, comparing that to my 3600lbs, thats about a full second off et, just in weight

Thanks again.

Unfortunately we didn't calibrate the dyno for torque because we were short on time, so I didn't get a number the last time.
