TOP SCxxx Mileage?

Mileage update
Last time I posted on this topic, I had 187k miles. Well....I am @ 229k now on my 1998 SC400 (1UZ-FE vvt-i). This driving 120 miles 5 days out of the week is adding up fast (and getting old). The good thing is that there is a 1998 GS400 with 220k+ miles on his car that just added a supercharger to his car. That makes me very confident. My motor mounts have been replaced(completely gone), new brakes, timing belt, water pump, changed diff. fluid, changed tranny fluid (every 50k), replaced alternator, and about to replace PS pump and LCA bushings. Other than that....I believe the 1UZ-FE is an incredible engine. I have actually heard someone turned 1 million miles on a 1990 LS400. They just keep on going!

the funny part is the price: ~$7,000!
yeah right, 7 grand for any car with 260k on it is absurd, they didn't seem to interested in selling it either, but it looked like it was in good condition.

Personally, I wouldn't sell mine for less than $12K at the current 211K miles.

ended up on these boards while blundering around the net trying to find the unsprung weight [though i dont even remember why any more]. just read through the entire thread, cant resist throwing in my $0.02 [nowhere close to highest or lowest mileage; just middling].
'92 SC300 manual, almost 136k. bone stock [i talk about changing that a lot, but itd probably help if i had a source of income first]. dad was the original owner and he babied that car worse than i do. started driving it about 3.5 years ago. original brakes [abt 50% left], second clutch [replaced around 117.5k]. never a single problem, unless you count getting run over by a guy in a bigass pickup truck gunning it backward out of a parking space [fortunately all cosmetic, but a whole lot of it] but thats not the cars fault. [EDIT TO MENTION: the left window motor crapped out too, forgot about that. but still.]
i say it all the time, still true. its 'my' first car but i want to have it forever [though i wouldnt mind adding a few other cars too ]. and dads still awfully attached, i doubt he would mind either.
