208k on my 2nd SC... runs better then the one with 146k

Ooo, yeah... rephrasing - CAR has 171k, engine is somewher around 60-70k miles.
But you are right - thery're monsters when taken care of!

 

So true....The 2JZ and 1UZ both will last forever when taken care of. I have heard of them over the 500k mile mark. Not too uncommon being that our cars are over engineered. I know Cessna Aircraft planned on using the 1UZ-FE for their planes. They can rev to 10,000rpm all day

98 sc400 with a lil under 85,000. engines 100% but some lil **** is breaking. Foggy tail lights cd player. oh well could be worse. if it was a ford id be re doing the top end.

 

sorry to get a little off topic, but are you guys using synthetic or regular oil on your cars?

 

300,000 miles and i still ran a 15.5 well that was at 280,000..i got it from a ex tweeker(meth addict) so its a little messed up just a bunch of little dings and dents no biggie tho...also im new to this forum

Sitting on 222,000 with a whole 10lbs a boost over the last 20,000

 

Mobil 1 5w30 & Mobil 1 filter. Recently switched to 15,000 mile Mobile 1 and change every 10k with new Mobil 1 filter.

Lucky me....I bought the car with 177k and the switch from Dino to Synth was smooth as silk

231k miles now BTW on a 1998 (avg of 33k/yr)

 

Castrol GTX (10w30 in the summer and 5w30 in the winter), which I believe is synthetic, right?
