Congrats and welcome to the 200K+ club! My 1998 SC400 is currently at 263K right now. All I've had to replace is the crappy power steering pump, in the process of replacing my 2nd alternator, and fixed a cam seal leak. Still runs like a top and still pissing off Mustang GT's, Occasional Camaro's, and 99.99% of all ricers . I'm sure your Lex will last you at least another 200K .

Sweet Lord, you put 122,000 miles on your car in FIVE YEARS!?!?!? Crazy!

I'm now at 182,00 on my 1993 SC300. On my 2nd Engine, 2nd Transmission, 3rd PS pump, 2nd Alternator, 3rd A/C Compressor........ it's a freakin lemon. It runs great now, though!!

Thanks, I hope i can get another 200K out of this car.
Besides downtime caused by mods, and 3rd rate mechanics , mine has really had few problems so far. It has had a hesitation issue, and some sensor and wiring issues that were driving me crazy for a few months now. But im close to having it figured out.
Your SC4 is beautiful BTW . Your exhaust thread(s) helped me out alot when i was doing mine last month.

Just think though, the first 2 years were about 90K of that . I used to have a 100 mile round trip commute every day. Now im commuting about 15 a day round trip.

That's not that unusual.
I used to drive 110 - 130 miles going into Boson traffic every day in college.

That's part of the 229,000 + miles that I have on my SC400 now.

A lot of people do this when they work or go to school in big cities like Boston.
We either don't want to live in the city or can't afford it. So we live far outside of it (property close by is VERY expensive).

I know the point of the thread is highest mileage SCs, but I think mine is unique in that there is 158K miles on a turboed SC.
Turbo went on at 128K miles...running strong making high 13sec passes.

Are you SC300 or SC400? It seems pretty common knowledge (at least for me) that the SC400's dont wear out, but I am curious to how far the SC300's will go.

Same question for you too

I had 181,000 at Thanksgiving dinner last november. I just rolled 204,000 today. I have this crazy knocking sound when I take off (not xmission mount, its new), but other than that I'm good.

SC300 253k. Everything runs perfect, have a small leak coming from the distributor which is prolly just the seal and an easy fix. Thats the only leak. Needles are gone, but backlighting is still decently bright. Car is as quiet as can be when at operating temp. Tranny is a bit noisy as the car first warms up, but when you step on the clutch the tranny noise disappears. Completely stock and still beats some hondas... some... I get sad when I remember the day a b16a obd2 eg hatch took me by 1 car =(

Bought my 1992 SC400 new when Lexus introduced it. Now has 353,XXX miles on the original drivetrain.
I am about to install: new leatherseats, my upteenth set of new tires and have a major service with timing belt change performed. I will then send the car to college with my 19 year old daughter.
