My engine wasn't really "blown", but it had some bad crank rattle, so I replaced it before something catastrophic happened...
Basically, the previous owner only change the oil like every 10-15k miles, ruind the motor.

these cars last forever. mines at 206,000 runs like new and races with no problems whatsoever

Mine is at 203,550 and still running strong, or it will be once the shop fixes it. Just getting some routine maintenance.

True, but everything else was just random crap that doesn't normally happen.

a few other small things need to be replaced on mine

but the engine runs flawless at 121xxx miles

234,600 miles and still as smooth as a Lexus should be.

For the oil leak...
Check the "spark plug valley" and see if there's oil. If so, it's your valve covers leaking, so replace those gaskets (might as well change you plugs too since you have to take the upped intake apart).

92 sc400 with about 260k i need to do a little TLC on the engine but still runs great never gives me issues with it.

ok well mines a 93 sc400, with 110,917 miles. she's pretty new.... but
I HAVE SEEN THAT PIC OF THAT SC WITH 621,000 MILES ON IT!
anyone know the pic im talkin about?

No, but I remember seeing a picture of an SC odometer with 690+k miles.
