i've seen 301,004 with my own 2 eyes!!!!
my uncle's friend from out of town came over and what do you know, he owns a 92 SC400. i came out to check out his car and he has freakin 301K miles. holy *****... he says that he has had this car since 92', he bought it brand new. his car looks like new though. but deng, soo many miles. he said that he drives the car up to 115mph with no problems. all maintance is taken care of. oil change every 3 months. he says he knows the car inside out by now.

The SC400 back then didn't cost that much. When the LS was first introduced in the States, I remember watching its commercial listing the car for just $38k.
I had the original sticker on my SC400 laying somewhere and it was in the neighborhood of high $30ks. Even if you opted for Nakamichi stereo, heated seats and traction control, it was still in the low $40ks.
The post 94' models got more and more expensive due to the high tariffs, which partially had to do with the demise of cars such as the RX-7 and 300ZX in the U.S.
My SC4 has just clocked in at around 238,260 miles or so.

My 92 sc400 has 262000 miles on it . My girlfreinds 92 sc 300 has over 275000 miles on it. My 400 just started burinig oil every 5000 miles (one quart). The 300 burns one quart every 1000 miles.
