Best Shocks/struts for '92 SC300?

It seems the only ones I've heard of are Tokicos for the SC. I want to keep my stock springs b/c I'm pretty happy w/ the ride, but I discovered a small leak on one of my rear struts this past weekend. I have Tokicos on my Q45 and like them alot. However, my friend also had Tokicos on his Legend and it ruined his ride quality. Needless to say, I am worried about what aftermarket shocks will do to the Lexus ride quality.
Any suggestions out there? What should I expect to pay? Where is the best (price/quality) place to get them?
TIA!

My SC400 is going in for rear struts...and the total bill will be $450 including labor.
Seems expensive to me, but Lex wants about 550 for it.

Why not use Lexus shocks to preserve the ride quality? Last I checked it's $90/each about two months ago.
I have Tokico shocks and don't see much difference than factory. They're probably a bit firmer

Yes, I am having Meineke go to Lexus for the struts. Their OEM replacement is severly backordered (not too many SC400's out there huh!?!)

Go to the Tirerack they have KYBs for Lexus coupes. I've also heard that the stock ones from Lexus are actually KYBs.
