Asking nicely...
Well, O.L.T., I AM asking nicely. Our 93 SC400 has a darkened temp gauge needle, flickering tach & speedo needles as well as a dim area in the 5-6000 rpm range of the tach numbers. Since the SC cluster is quite different from the LS, may I ask which capacitors and (I assume) bulbs I should replace to remedy the situation? Any info or assistance would be greatly appreciated.

No the problems are not the same as the LS. The LS uses 100,000+ volt transformers, the Sc is 12 volts and it is a simple failure of the end components themselves, not motherboard parts. Look in the FAQ sticky at the top of the forum and read the "everything about the cluster" thread.
