i didn't like my tan either, so i took all my seats out, put racing seats and didn't bother putting the rear seats back on...........as for the rest of the tan stuff, that will soon be re-wrapped
if you think it'll take long to find another 5spd with black int., just do the swap,

Good luck trying to find a clean 95+ 5speed with black interior. It took me 2 months to find a 95 with black interior and automatic BTW: Personally I would never go with a 96+ car because of OBDII.

I spent an awful long time looking for my last 5 speed SC300 (about 6 months) so I'm prepared to wait again.
96-97 doesn't scare me. OBDII gives you a ton more information, and it really doesn't matter if you swap motors.
Right now I'm debating on whether or not I should just buy a MKIV and be done with it. It may be less heartache.

I only wanted a 95' because it doesn't have OBDII... this technology scares me... I don't want a self-aware car that wil fail emissions because of a broken exhaust gas sensor (what would happen if you had OBDII) And if you have OBDII then you'll never pass emissions, because they have to hook into the OBDII computer and pull the stats... when they plug in and its OBDI then you'll automaticaly fail
About supras... wait till they come down in price. Also paying for other people's accidents doesn't sound good to me (insane insurance rates ).

Hey, a friend of mine is selling his 96 black on black SC3 5spd. It has 80k +/- and is super clean inside and out. It's the cleanest car I've seen in that range of years. PM me if you want his contact info.

re-dye
I just bought a leather/vynal dye kit from leatherworldtech and will be working on a two tones Black/grey interior with a red trim just to accent the colors (main body is red).
I know it'll be a HUGE undertaking, worth several weekends. But i believe it will be worth it.
I'm also replacing my front speakers which blew out, so it'll make the doors that much easier to re-dye, since I already need to take off the interior.
