swap it, but dont paint it, i dont think you should buy a car for its interior. Get a good exterior and mechanically sound car and just swap the interior. Its not hard and if done properly, it doesnt make rattling sounds after.

Default sc3 with 5 speed

if you're very patient, and don't mind the work, you can change the interior color.. but it's not a small or simple project. You may have to get creative in order to deal with broken tabs, etc..

Personally, i got my sc400 for under $1000, straight body, i'm the 3rd owner, and it has a clean title; so i'm willing to go through the headaches of swapping my interior panels..

I'll post pics once it's done..

Honestly, any car project always comes down to two things:
1.) can you afford to do it (is it worth the cost)
2.) are you willing to do the work required*

*keeping in mind, most of the time, it will never go as planned.

Most of my interior is being replaced with steel tubing, sheet metal and carbon fiber... so it'll definitely be a project.

Buy the car, clean it, buy the black interior spray paint, rip out your interior carefully, buy new tabs and lots of insulator (pretty good way to get your interior nice and snug), clean the interior till your can't clean anymore, spray it black (have seats redone professionally and wood trim I would recommend buying new).

I ve seen this done many times, always looks great and a nice affordable way to get what you want, just gotta put a lil effort in it. Although, its never as good as original

I just notice it and wow.. But I would rather swap out for a black one. Since my interior is like a light tan / white color get dirty too fast for me to clean.
