GUYS

let me start by stating , PICS ON THIS FORUM do not do this ride justice..

seeing it in person , its really breathtaking.. the color , the way the sun reflects off the paint , the wheels and how they compliment the color and the classy and yet slightlty aggressive well chosen body components

now when you see this ride coming at you , it looks like a pit bull waiting to attack .. i never knew with the drop reggie chose that the fat tire setup would look soooooo perfect.. it really looks sweet now i went for a ride with him as well , handling is unbelieveably precise ( can you beleive it reg actually had me holding on , me of all people ) the ride was very refined and very quiet..

part of why imo the pkge as a whole looks great (although imo just needs something abit more prenounced in rear exaust wise but hey thats just me) reggie really keeps this ride in pristine condition , not just clean but pristine

well done reggie and post more pics bro i cant get enough of this color

Hey Reg what setting do you have the coilovers set to? Not the stiffness but the height. I want to get an idea for when I install my coils. I hear that initially you may want to set them a bit higher than you'd like because they will settle and lower even more after a few weeks/months. Is this true? I just don't want to have to go back in and adjust the coils if I can set them how I want from the beginning. I'm not running a fat tire set up like yours though, if it makes a diff. I'm running 35 series but think I still would want my coils set like yours, let me know what you think...

I don't know how many turns we ended up going. The tecnician measured before starting the adjustments. Out of the box they were set at 2 inches or 2 fingers. I told them I wanted 1 finger (1 inch) all around. They had the right equipment for lowering a car. They put the car on the alignment rack. Underneath they had a machine that pushed or lifted the car up off the whhels to make adjustments. They went up and down about 10 times until we got 1 inch all around. I'd say it's about 3/4 of an inch now that it's settled some. I hope it doesn't drop more, then I'll have to raise it. I scraped my front lip today going over a dip. Can't have that. I don't think I answered your question well but I hope it helps.

Had to add this one more (yeah, I took many you won't see). It's a really clear shot. Plus it looks weird with the front hanging over that bumper stop. I need to be more careful now.

Hey Reg,

Your ride looks great!! How does it the ride feel like compare to stock with your after market wheels and lowered suspension? Is the ride rough? Just curious because I want to lower my car with 18" staggered wheels. Thanks in advance.

Josh, the car rides great. Just remember, the sc comes from the factory a little firmer than the other Lexus cars. Lowering it will make it pretty firm. Choose the right parts to give it a good smooth ride to go with the firmness.
