SC300 surges when turn signal is on

Matthew,
first thing I would check are the battery posts and make sure they are clean w/ good contacts. Is the battery in good shape (is it time for a replacement)? Otherwise I would check the ground cable.
Do you have any electrical gadget add-ons like a fancy stereo, aftermarket alarm, or lighting? If not properly installed, they can affect the electrical system.
good luck!

Once a car is running the battery doesn't do much as far as powering anything on the car...from that point on, the alternator takes over, including recharging the battery and topping it off from the drain of kicking the starter.
See if someone can check your system voltage and see if it's putting out adequate voltage when running.
A bad battery could also be the culprit, but only because it is causing an excess draw on the charging system.
The more amperage/output an alternator makes, the more load it is on the engine, to the point where it could drop the idle by a noticeable amount.
