has the body shop given you an initial estimate yet? generally they will give you an estimate for free assuming they will be doing repairs. Also out of curiousity, what is the BB value of your lex? Before my crash my car was BB at about $9600, and as i said the intial estimate was a shade under $7700. But then you subtract the deductible and after that its up to the adjuster. HOPE!

erm, I just did a kbb suggested retail search and wtf.....my car is worth 12grand!?!?!?!?!?!?!?!?!?
that can't be, since when I got the car, it was worth 9grand; and even since then, I have put about 3 thousand miles on it.

yea man i was surprised at the value of my car as well But when i went to the lexus dealer and had it appraised they said it was approximately the same as KBB assuming i still had my stock exhaust and stock rims. Also the body shop i used appraised the vehicle and actually came up with a number higher than KBB. I'm guessing your location and demand for vehicle has something to do with it. Sc's are not in too high demand in NY so i was expecting way lower.

ah this is a good point...i had one airbag pop, but then again look at your damage and then look at mine...maybe it cancels out?

that might explain why only 1 fired for me....still weird cause i think the airbags are linked to trigger together.

Just an update for everyone.
Everything is done, body shop is just waiting for the passenger airbag to be imported from Japan.
I guess my car is now going to be JDM TyT3
Brian if you're reading this..my bad I should've sent in my cluster a long long time ago.
