hello all, newbie here :D
hey guys. boy, i have to say....
i have spent many hours on this site reading all sorts of info, articles, and blogs! i absolutely love it. now for my dilemma. i have a choice to choose between an SC300, and a SC400. i love the 400 because of the power, stock wing, and lip. the 300 has endless turbo possibilities which is also highly desireable. i don't know which to choose! living in hawaii also makes finding a 5 spd nearly impossible! any input guys?

Hi there welcome to CL!
Well it really depends what type of car you're looking for. This is my vision on them...
SC400 - The perfect car for someone that wants a cruiser. Has good speed/acceleration, very relaxed to drive, and you're not planning for many modifications.
SC300 - I see these as a Supra cloaked in an SC bodyshell. Engines are the same, driveline's the same, suspension set up is similar (like the SC400 too). Better platform for more modifications etc.
In my case I always wanted the luxury of the V8 (JDM Soarer that is, over my side of the world), but the turbo rush got the better of me And now my car has leather trim (out of the V8 Soarer how funny hahaha) and that's what I really wanted out of the V8 Soarers, but with the SC3's you should already have that fitted.
Hope that helps. And have fun on the forums!

Hey welcome to CL!
I picked the SC300 because I can't drive an Automatic, I have tried. It leads to me feeling dumb because I always push the clutch in on start up, and you feel pleanty dumb when it's not there. Expecially when someone is in the car and you do it so hard your whole body lurches.
Eitherway soarer 25gtt said it very well.
I give both

Just give it time in finding the right car. You may need to ship one over from California, but it'd be worth it.
