The 7 times was for different revisions on the same set of lights (seen on page 2). I kept at it until I was happy with the final effect. It came out fine and leak free each time.

To reseal I just used the stock glue. You don't even need to touch it. Just heat, open, mod, heat, and close. The glue stays where it needs to be. Worked all 7 times.

It's been leak free since March in Florida's wet season (daily storms), thru 4 hurricanes and 1 car wash a week. I'd say it's good.

Yeah, the color would depend on what color the car is, bodykit or no, etc. Have seen the charcoal gray on several headlight surrounds, not as drastic on certain colors as the black. Certain color cars need the black though, so I guess it depends...
I had to use some silicone to try and seal up the lenses again, seems that the previous owner (long story)of these headlights had somehow gotten broken bulbs, glass inside and it stuck to the sealant, so I had to scrape it off.

Could we get some pictures of a completely delined headlight? Thinking it should look clean on a black sc.

Just realized I wasnt too clear. I wanted to see it on an actual sc not just the headlight itself.

I think the delined headlights looks great. IMO it looks cleaner and more up to date, especially if you are going to be painting your housing.

I haven't really got to get to know my car yet, but does anyone know if the column between the corner light and headlight can be removed? I guess it can be cut?

CleanSC, , nice headlights.

I think this is a pretty good mod. Those Supra lights look fantastic. Reminds me of Ferrari Maranello headlamps. I wouldn't say that the delined lights have "the APC look." I personally would like to see a set where the entire lense was delined, with the exception of the turnsignal area. Paint the housing black, but again leave the turnsignal area untouched, so as to retain a clear/white turnsignal lense. Add some trim rings around the projectors as CleanSC did. The end result should have a very updated effect resembling the S2000, new Viper, and Bimmer headlamps.

Yes, the divider between the turn signal and the headlight area can be trimmed.

And thanks.

What color paint did you use to paint that bezel?

good work man, i know the lines near the thick ridges are hard to get rid of
