The o2 doesnt ususally send any codes, its just a power, ground, and one sensor wire. so if the sensor was was not reading correctly the ecu would just think you're doin something weird to the car.

How much more does your car weigh over a stock SC4? It may not make too much difference but all the extra stuff you have on your car could be hurting your fuel economy. I don't think it would make it drop from 17-18 mpg to 9 mpg, but maybe 1-2 mpg.

my 300 gets around 21 mpg, i have bad plugs, im burning oil, i need a 90k service check, and i think my cats are bad.

maybe your car is just saying no

Mine has new plugs, wires, cap/rotor, every fluid synth and fresh, not a drop of oil and I get 16 mpg.

my sc3 gets 200 to the tank too.... that might be because it sees 6000+ rpm everyday i drive it. It's such a slow car, especially with 19's.

I have 19's too and don't consider the car a slug. I do think the 275 rubber is helping kill my mileage but enough to make it 16mpg? I drive the car mostly conservative with occasional sprints that mostly include hard corners and WOT at corner exit. I don't drive with my foot planted all day, just at the right times.

I NEED AN LSD. That constant inside tire spinning is killing my spirit. I get it at any turn where I'm trying to enjoy myself and it SUCKS. My FWD Celica was more fun that this with less mods and it's slower.

Have you checked your tire pressure?

I was recently getting around 14 mpg. It was p'ing me off. When I checked my tire pressure it was down to 20 psi on all 4 tires (18 inch rims)! So I fill them back up. The next tank of gas got me 19 mpg (with the same type of driving).

you break loose the tires? i can't even do that unless i drop the clutch. what tires you have i have 275/30/19 in the rear. They are toyo proxies t1-s. I can't do that on the crappy tires i have which are the kumho escta supras which are 285/40/17
