Here is the MAF adapter plate and air filter I have. I found a greater improvement when I installed the aluminum heat shield made from rolled stock. I will redo when I go twin turbo next year.

She sounds awesome at WOT!!!!!

hey banking

You stated that you could get the cone filter for 19.95 and the adapter for 18.00. But when I checked autozones website I could only find K&N filters for 86$. Could you be so kind to provide part numbers?

Check out the thread "Air filter recommendations"(part#,prices) also check out "Exhaust Horsepower/sound gains"...

The filter in the pic above is not a K&N but another brand Autozone and many other shops carry for $20 bucks not as good as a K&N or Apex.

Speedandstlye.com ... MKIV.com .... Look under Tech Articles... (K&n_extension, Filters_test, Apexi_air_filter)

he made the heat shield and sold a bunch on clublexus a while ago. i bought one but didn't install an intake until a long time afterwards. i didn't expect to install an aftermarket filter, so i sold the heat shield. i wish i kept it though. do you have anymore?
