This has definitely been one of my inspirations to restore my SC. This one turned out very nicely!

I can only imagine the money you spent putting the interior back to this shape! .. i wonder what it really looked like before. great job

If you add up all the items I mentioned in original post it came out to something just under $1200. It's 115K miles later and it still looks decent but as you can imagine it's not quite as brand spanking new looking anymore.

With 310K miles, it would probably be do for a redo again at 450K, but I can't get brand new floor mats anymore which is a huge bummer.

I am a detailer and I know when I see good work and this is it. Nice work on the interior. Now how good are you with a high speed buffer. :-)

What was the exact method you used to clean the carpet ? For example did you a house and brush or rent a carpet cleaner?

A regular steam cleaning carpet cleaner (bissell) plus a vapor cleaner which heats the steam up to 300F. I used that on tough stains. Also, keep in mind I replaced the floor mats so they were brand new in the photos.
