got some chrome GT-Cs on order, 19x8.5 front and 19x9.5 rear...
I would try 245/45R19 for the fronts and a 255/40/R19 rears.

You will gain a little extra sidewall this way without damaging the looks or performance of the car to greatly.

That is too fat of a set up! 245-45-19 will rub too much.

Don't want the ride to be too harsh though, so thinking of increasing the wheel radius to have more side profile.

Can anyone advise one what size rubber to buy?

SEEEEXY

245/35 F, and 265 or 275/30 R

If you go with 35 series both front and rear the rears will be too tall. The reason they go with a 30 series tire in the rear is that the number is a percentage of the width. When you have a wider tire, youll get a taller sidewall assuming the sidewall number is the same. This really only goes for staggered setups. If you dont run a staggered setup then you should go with the same sidewall rating since they are the same width

PS. My setup is for sale

Optional GS 17 x 8 with 235s all the way around.

I have since added 5mm wheel spacers all around as well. I have been looking into the EVO HP staggered setup for a while, they look very very nice

not the greatest pic, but the last ones I took

18in. 9J and 10J (with 25mm spacer in rear)
for tiresize, 9J uses 225/40-18 and 10J uses 235/40-18
Driving and racing on these sizes with no problems as well. Its just a matter of what will fit your fenders

If you decide to run 18in wheels try to use reverse wheels, since they tend to look bigger than a regular lip style wheel will.

Not sure why no one likes that. It could use a strong polish but they still look fine to me.
