Need some info on racing seats

looks to be a genuine Bride seat, some people think its fake since it doesn't say bride continuously in gray down the cushion, but that was their old style what you see is part of the new Bride lineup... the rail to fit that seat is also like $200 new as well... so for 1 seat your looking a lot of money, I f you use it for a SC ... build a bracket to build up the seat about an inch or two. othewrwise it may be too low for most.

What also happened was that the seat belt would also be too high (because the seat sat basically on the floor) and would get in the throat of my passengers...not a good thing...
So, I ditched the seats and maybe...if I can modify them to sit me higher, I'd get another set in a heartbeat.
Recaro & Bride brackets are "super-low" type brackets and will sit you basically on the floor of the car. I hear Sparco brackets will sit you a bit higher, but I don't like the looks of sparcos...
Anyways, it'd be nice to get a pair of CSL seats in, they're sure comfortable and grip you like no other...but...I'd imagine it'd cost at least $3k for them?

Those Bride Brackets do sit low...that's how Pat's seat sit...Low....
I have the Corbeau brackets now and my A4's sit just perfect for me (I'm also 5'6") . And my passengers next to me haven't complained about the seat belt being high. I've always wondered why you got rid of the SRD's, but now I know why. What seats did you opt for afterall???

Are these seats legit? I'm not too familiar with bride seats and my brother wants to buy them for his supra, so he asked me if these were legit and I told them i'd ask the people at my forum. To me they look straight, but if any of you guys could help i'd appreciate it. Thanks

what makes them "fake" is the suede/alacantra material.....it's completely different than the "authentic bride material."
another note is that the "imposter" brides seem to have the authentic bride tags and bride imprinted on the **** that reclines the seats....... one possibility is that those alacantra/suede seats are rumored to be "defects" or "rejects" that are thrown right out of the factory that manufactures bride seats......either way, to the non-enthusiast eyes, they cannot tell the difference, so to differentiate between real and fake is the actual material
that's what i've read in different forums
you can read their site more about it, just look up tees usa
looking at your link and looking at the material, they look legit

the OEM seat bolts on the the moving rails just like the after market seats, 4 bolts flat on the bottom, the only thing is that the oem bolt are farther apart than the after market seats. so I made a square shaped bracket using 2" flat aluminum(soon to be in steel). and drilled all 8 holes in it. Im going to fab another piece to mount toggle switch and to hide the exposed rails. the seats still do front and back movment and driver still does tilt and up and down, BUT the back rest dont move because I didnt rig the OEM parts on to it
