im going to bump this because its the best thread i found so far on this problem, and im trying to figure this out because it just happened to me.

the yellow box he's talking about is in the trunk/QP area on the drivers side.
i will post a picture soon just so it will be here.

I am trying to find out if i have a bad relay, or if i have the tail light failure (yellow box) problem.

My tail lights were working fine the other day, and now, the running lights & brake lights don't work at all.

anybody had this problem? thanks

I had this problem once where none of my brake lights worked at all. Lexus told me they replaced a tail light module in the trunk, may be this yellow thing yall are talking about. I don't remember clearly, it ws a few years ago.

thanks for the reply...yeah that module is the yellow box (aka: Lamp Failure module)

i can't upload the pics of the box since this computer is a pos and not working right...but you can get to the module after about 5 seconds of opening the trunk if your curious as to where it is, or what it looks like.
