To Chrome or Not to Chrome...
Ok, it's almost time for my car to get some new shoes. I have a set of chrome 17" five spokes on now but it's time for somthing different.
What I have decided on is getting a set of 98+ GS400 17"s. So my question is should I go with chrome again (looks more "pimp") or get the silver ones (looks more "sporty")?
I would love to get some nice 18's but thats not really reasonable here in St. Louis (eg: potholes big enough for homless people to sleep in)
So if anyone has picts of there SC with some GS wheels on them please post them! (and if you could post the tire size you have as well)
I have yet to see a SC with the chromes on it.
Thanks!

Here is a CL member's SC with GS 17" wheels (non-chrome) from a recent meet (hope he doesn't mind me posting them, thought they looked pretty good on the SC!).

yea if the cars black then i would go chrome. (if those are the two options, silver & chrome)
if my car was black, and i hadn't already purchased a set of wheels, i would go for these.
these 3 piece wheels are imports from japan and have great fitment on GS & SC in both 19" and 18". These run just as good as OEM if not better. They are light weight though durable, affordable, and good quality.

uh...I guess the term "affordable" is subjective...
I was thinking more around $900 - $1000 For A SET , not just the back two

Im running 245/45/17's, which alot of people feel is too wide, but I love em and have ran into absolutely no problems using the 245's yet. GS wheels are 1" wider than the IS300, and also sit a little flusher to the fender, so they are supposed to be better. I would have gotten GS wheels, but I could not pass up the deal I got on these rims.
Good luck, and if you want any more pics, just ask
